Digital securities exchange ADDX uses blockchain and smart contract technology to fractionalise multi-asset securities such as private equity, hedge funds and bonds, overcoming traditional processes that have previously locked out smaller investors. The minimum ticket size for such investments can be reduced from USD 1 million to USD 1,000. ADDX’s proprietary exchange also allows the secondary trading of securities among investors. ADDX also offers a solution to support wealth managers, called ADDX Advantage. This is a plug-and-play solution that allows them to give their clients access to a full shelf of private market products at fractional sizes and with no lock-up periods thanks to secondary trading. ADDX has raised around USD 140 million from shareholders including Singapore Exchange and Temasek subsidiary Heliconia Capital.
