Hang Seng Bank Appoints New Head of Private Banking and Trust Services

Hang Seng Bank has announced Rachel Wei as the new leader of its private banking and trust services division.

The announcement was made via a social media post. Wei transitions to this role from HSBC, where she served as a managing director and market head in the private banking sector. Before her tenure in private banking, she held a position in HSBC's commercial banking unit.

This appointment follows Alison Law's transition from the role of head of private banking at Hang Seng to become the global head of distribution at HSBC Life in December 2023. Law, who has been with HSBC for 25 years, returned to the British bank after spending two years at Hang Seng.
