Abrdn and FNZ Launch New Digital Wealth Platform in Asia

Abrdn has announced a collaboration with the global wealth management platform FNZ to launch a new digital platform in Asia.

This initiative aims to serve independent financial advisory firms, banks, family offices, and insurers across the region, with the initial rollout beginning in Singapore as detailed in a May 2 release. The platform, featuring an open architecture and multi-distributor framework, is designed to streamline investment advice processes, enabling financial advisors to operate more efficiently and cost-effectively. It provides options for discretionary portfolio management and self-directed investing through both advisor and client portals, along with standardized wealth APIs.

This venture builds on Abrdn and FNZ's long-standing relationship that began in 2005 in the UK, where their financial advisor platform currently manages over £75.2 billion ($94.2 billion) in assets. Abrdn, which manages £507.7 billion in assets as of March 31, 2024, identifies the growing wealth in Asia excluding Japan as a lucrative market for such technological advancements, which are tailored to meet the scaling demands of financial intermediaries.
