Profile:
Christophe Lee has over 32 years of financial services and asset management experience in Asia. He held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, SHK Financial and IDEG Asset Management (digital assets). He is the Founding Partner of JP Asia Partners, and invests in early-stage Fintech, blockchain and Web3 companies. He is also an advisor to HK based venture firms Beyond Ventures and HK-X Tech. He advised the HKSAR government on its Fintech policy and led the working group for the FSDC paper “The Future of FinTech in Hong Kong” published in in 2017. Mr. Lee played an active role in the development of the asset management industry in Hong Kong. He served as elected Chairman of AIMA Hong Kong (global trade association for hedge funds) for 8 years between 2004 and 2012 and was appointed by the HKSAR government to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) advisory committee from 2007 to 2009 and to the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) from 2013 to 2019. He has been voted by AsianInvestor as one of the “Top 25 most influential people in Asian hedge funds” and by Asia Fund Manager as one of the “Top 50 Industry Leaders”.
