Blake has an extensive background in the fine art markets in Asia, Europe & North America. He has been living between Beijing and Shanghai since 2011. Before founding FAAA in early 2016, Blake held the Associate Director role at the Yuz Museum Shanghai. The Yuz Museum is a private contemporary art museum operated by a significant Indonesian collector of contemporary art works. Prior to this role, Blake was the Senior Technical Executive at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing. The UCCA is well known for being the first privately held contemporary art museum in China. Before moving to China, Blake founded and operated a successful Chicago based fine art services company that served private and corporate clients across North America and Europe.
