Profile:
Bill graduated from Brown University in 1978 and moved to Hong Kong in 1980. After working as a journalist and securities analyst, he relocated to Seoul for Citicorp Vickers in 1986, to open Korea’s first foreign brokerage office. In 1989 he was recruited by Baring Securities for North Asian equity sales in London. Barings sent him to New York in 1993 to establish a New Emerging Markets Desk, and he ultimately specialized in Emerging Europe. Moving on in New York, he marketed that region for Deutsche Bank and HSBC. He joined Dragon in March 2006 as Head of Research and was appointed Chief Investment Officer in 2010.
