On July 6, Hubbis in partnership with Janus Henderson Investors and KATCH Investment Group will host a virtual event and discussion focusing on the world of real estate investment opportunities.
There are diverse speakers with different points of view – including Xin Yan Low, Portfolio Manager on the Global Property Equities Team at Janus Henderson Investors, who will discuss some timely aspects on the international property markets and associated opportunities, and the relevant avenues for accessing those investments.
The panel discussion will comprise gatekeepers and investment specialists from the Asian wealth management markets, and these experts will offer their ideas on property sector investments and how best to approach both the public and private real estate markets.
Commercial real estate investing can take many different forms, and there are many different levels at which investors can participate. The experts and Janus Henderson’s Xin Yan will review the potential avenues available, including via direct equity, or REITs representing equity, perhaps through active funds and their underlying corporate property sector investments, and also both public and private market opportunities. They will touch on private debt and credit that allows investors access to yield higher up the capital ladder.
They will look at the different types of property sector investments (such as leisure, offices, logistics, technology-related (data centres, for example), and so forth. And they will also scan the globe for the most interesting opportunities for Asia’s private wealth clients. And focus on how property investment factors into Residency and Citizenship by Investment.
The experts will consider the typical time horizons that investors should consider for the different types of investments, from the public market trusts and REITs that offer continuous price points and liquidity to the less liquid types of assets that might require investors to lock up their funds for longer periods.
And the panel will highlight some of the challenges, risks and drawbacks that investors might consider as they factor in the right levels of commitment to the different types of real estate assets.
We invite you to join us on July 6th for a valuable glimpse into the world of real estate investing.
