We are delighted to report that Hubbis will be hosting the next annual Hubbis Malaysia Wealth Management event in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday 8th May.
An event specifically to the local Private Wealth Management Community, the forum is structured to deliver the most efficient and engaging agenda, discussions and networking, beginning at 09.00 and ending at 14.00 after lunch & networking (for those that would like to stay).
Very simply, the event will focus on the evolution of wealth management in Malaysia’s maturing and diversifying market.
In Malaysia, private wealth management has been growing in recent years and the sector is evolving to meet the changing needs of HNW clients. The rise of technology has led to a digital transformation in the wealth management sector with many private banks and wealth managers have adopted digital solutions to improve the customer experience and increase efficiency.
Wealth managers are also offering bespoke investment solutions that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of HNW clients. This includes more customized portfolios, alternative investments, and personalized wealth planning services.
Private banks are also expanding their services beyond traditional wealth management to offer a wider range of financial solutions. This includes insurance, and wealth planning services.
We will host panel discussions and presentations on these topics, and more:

Setting the Scene for the 2024 Malaysia Wealth Management Forum
On 8th May, Malaysia stands at the nexus of past achievements and future promises in the realm of wealth management. 2023 brought forth significant advances, paving the way for continued economic expansion and diversification of wealth—from the burgeoning mass affluent to the HNW and UHNW segments.
Our expert panel will dissect the core challenges, trends, and opportunities the Malaysian market witnessed and foresees. Key points include the jostling of industry incumbents and new entrants, the rise of strategic partnerships, and the burgeoning emphasis on Islamic wealth management.
Despite the maturity of Malaysian financial markets—second only to Singapore in the ASEAN region—there remains a challenge. A considerable portion of Malaysian wealth has historically ventured offshore. The goal now is not only to repatriate these investments but to ensure the newer wealth, especially from younger generations, is effectively managed onshore. This entails a keen focus on wealth, succession planning, and a drive towards digitization for a younger, tech-savvy clientele.
The nation's significant Muslim populace underscores the increasing importance of Islamic wealth management, marking notable developments in this sector. For Malaysia to grow alongside established financial powerhouses, the onus is on its market players to navigate regulatory complexities, enhance investment products, and advance in the Islamic finance realm.
Join Hubbis and a league of distinguished wealth management experts on May 8th in Kuala Lumpur. We'll spotlight Malaysia's wealth management landscape, highlighting its vast potential for both onshore and offshore players. We can’t wait to welcome our attendees to another great day of learning, networking, as we endeavour to help set the tone for the private wealth management market in Malaysia for 2024.
