Alison Fidler, Head, Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance, Wealth Markets Products and Sales, Standard Chartered Bank has overall leadership and functional responsibility for conduct, financial crime and compliance (CFCC) matters concerning the Wealth Markets Products and Sales business, which is a globally managed business that provides financial markets access to the Private Banking and Retail Banking client segments through advice on, product structuring and transaction execution in most asset classes (foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, equities and commodities). In recent years this has included CFCC responsibility for digital initiatives both direct to clients and direct to RMs (equities, FX and fixed income). She also provides advice, strategic direction and leadership on the interpretation, assessment and implementation of Global Regulatory Reform initiatives that impact the Wealth Management business. She joined Standard Chartered Bank in January 2010 from King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney where she worked in the banking and financial services department. Prior to Mallesons, Alison worked for Linklaters first in London and then, for over 11 years, in Hong Kong; where she gained extensive regional knowledge. She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, Hong Kong and New South Wales.
