Profile:
Geralda is a Dutch national, born in Curaçao. Geralda obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration in the US and a Master’s in International Management at the Oxford Brooks University in England. In 2008, she graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in the US, with an LLM in International Taxation and Financial Services, with an emphasis on Trusts.
She started her professional career in 1998 as an export consultant with Fone Range, an international export consultancy company based in the UK. In 1999, Geralda returned to Curaçao, where she joined Fortis Fund Services as manager of shareholder services.
After 3 years with Fortis, Geralda moved to Amicorp Curaçao NV, taking on a new challenge as marketing and sales account manager, and also head of the Mexican team. Her duties also included supervision and training of team members, compliance, and strategic decision making. She has also assisted with the creation of a support desk and production teams for sales offices in the US (Miami and New York) and Latin America. In 2005, she was appointed Managing Director, Latin America for Amicorp Curaçao NV, and became part of the management team of that office.
In 2008, Geralda relocated to Zurich where she joined the management team of Amicorp Switzerland. There she expanded her career by also taking on responsibility for Amicorp’s marketing efforts with large financial institutions within Switzerland and Portugal, and became the Managing Director and Private Clients team leader for Europe.
In 2014 through 2015, Geralda worked as a senior wealth advisor and business developer at Quilvest Switzerland Ltd, a multi-family office which forms part of the Quilvest International Financial Group, expanding her knowledge and experience in servicing global families and expanding her network in the independent wealth management and private equity industry. Geralda is a Board STEP member.
In January 2016 she rejoined Amicorp as Global Head – Private Clients.
Geralda speaks fluent Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu, and conversational German.
