Tony Edwards Appointed as New Deputy Chief Executive of Sun Hung Kai & Co

Tony Edwards has been named the new deputy chief executive of Sun Hung Kai & Co..

Edwards is succeeding Simon Chow, who previously held the position and retired earlier this year. In his new role, Edwards will be reporting directly to Seng Huang Lee, the chairman of the company.

Edwards' career in the financial sector began in the 1990s, during which he has held significant roles in various firms. His experience includes working at AllianceBernstein, Neuberger Berman, Robeco, and Arisaig Partners. Notably, he served as the CEO of Robeco Asia-Pacific and as the chief operating officer at Arisaig Partners.

With a background in both business management and development, Edwards brings a wealth of experience in handling traditional and alternative portfolio management across diverse markets. His expertise extends to managing businesses in different licensing environments, including the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore, and covers both public and private sectors globally and locally.
