Lumen Capital Investors has picked up two private bankers from Nomura to create a new North Asia team, according to a report on finnews.asia.

The Singapore-based wealth manager added Masahiro Kojima and Trina Pek, who worked at Nomura's private bank in Singapore for the last five years.

Pek has also previously worked for Standard Chartered, while Kojima has served assignments at UBS and ANZ.

Lumen was founded in 2010 by Swiss-born Wilfried Kofmehl, who once led Julius Baer's operations in Asia. The firm now offers wealth management, trust, real estate and fiduciary advice, and support on corporate finance.

Kofmehl is now the chairman of Lumen, with Jan Dirkmann as CEO. The firm continues to look for additional partners to increase their headcount, which currently stands at 20.
