LGT Wealth Management Bets on the UK

LGT Wealth Management has revealed its expansion plans, including the launch of a new office in Manchester and the relocation to larger premises in Birmingham.

The Manchester branch is set to open in March, with Mike Stirrup, previously with Artorius Wealth and UBS, joining as a wealth planner. He will be accompanied by Matthew Stevenson, formerly of Evelyn Partners, who will take on the role of trainee investment manager.

The company intends to bolster its team in the coming months, enhancing its service offerings for clients across the Northwest. In Birmingham, LGT is upgrading its office space to support its growing operations, incorporating team members from the recent Abrdn Capital acquisition and welcoming Tom Stone from Quilter Cheviot as an investment manager.

Ben Snee, CEO of LGT Wealth Management, emphasized the significance of Manchester and Birmingham in the firm's strategy to enhance its regional services across the UK. He noted that the new offices and the infusion of new talent are key to their commitment to excellence in client service and expanding their reach in these pivotal regions.
