Gemini Expands Crypto Offering in Singapore

Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, has  announced several product launches and features available to provide a more localised experience for its customers in Singapore.

Gemini is now live with new features, additional localsupport, and faster ways for crypto investors to fund their account. Gemini now supports Singapore dollar (SGD) on both the mobile app and desktop. Customers can use a debit card to buy crypto with SGD, or use FAST transfers to deposit SGD into their Gemini account.

Gemini has also made leading DeFi tokens such as Yearn, Finance (YFI), Uniswap (UNI) and Filecoin (FIL) available for trading for the market, the firm announced in a press release.

Additionally, Singapore residents can now use MyInfo via SingPass to auto-fill Gemini’s account registration forms.

Gemini continues to expand internationally, the firm reports, launching last year in the UK and adding support for Pound Sterling (GBP), Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Canadian dollar (CAD), and Australian dollar (AUD), and has experienced tremendous growth. In addition to adding support for more products in Singapore, Gemini has built out its local office, hiring Jeremy Ng as Head of Asia, Andy Meehan as Chief Compliance Officer and Eugene Ng as Head of Business Development for the region.
