Franklin Templeton announces recruitment to fill three Senior Roles

Alan Bartlett, Peter Sartori and Matt Foster have been revealed to be joining, or have already begun in their roles, at Franklin Templeton.

Alan Bartlett has joined Franklin Templeton as the Chief Investment Officer of the firm’s Templeton Global Equity Group, which has a value of USD 71 billion. Bartlett joins from Goodhart Partners, a multi-boutique in London, where he served as a chief executive. Following the retirement of Norman Boersma, who has been in the role for 27 years, Bartlett will take up the role, being set to start in October.

Peter Sartori is also said to be beginning his role in October. He is joining Franklin Templeton as a portfolio manager and will be based in Singapore, according to a report by the Financial Times. Peter is joining from Nikko Asset Management, where he served as Head of Asian Equities for over 5 years.

Matt Foster has been recruited to fill the new position of national retirement consultant. He is joining the firm from Investco, where he served as a Retirement National Account Manager. He was with Investco for 21 years.
