Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank Boosts South-East Asia Business

Deutsche Bank announces the appointment of Ted Lim as Managing Director and Cluster Head for South-East Asia (SEA) in the Private Bank (PB), effective in November.

Ted Lim is the latest of five new talents to join the SEA business. In September, Jean Koh joined as a Vice President, also reporting to Eleanor Lam, one of the Market Heads of SEA.

Lim and Koh are the latest to join the SEA coverage team at Deutsche Bank, following the appointment of Ellyn Alamsjah who joined in August as Managing Director, and Lulu Toligi and Sam Toh who had joined as Directors.

All five new relationship managers are based in Singapore.

Ted Lim will be responsible for managing and acquiring the private and corporate portfolios of Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals, entrepreneurs, and their families in the region. He joins Deutsche Bank with over 16 years of industry experience, most recently at Credit Suisse where he was an expert relationship manager. Prior to that, he spent more than 4 years at BNP Paribas. Lim had also worked for American Express Bank and ABN Amro Bank upon graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Economics and Philosophy.

Koh joins as a relationship manager. She has nine years of wealth management experiences and graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Accountancy.

Also joining with more than 16 years of wealth management experience, Ellyn Alamsjah will be responsible to provide succession planning strategies, investments and portfolio construction solutions, and explore one-bank opportunities to meet with their needs. Prior to that, she worked with Credit Suisse, UBS, and was the Group Chief Financial Officer for Delifrance Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Science from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science from Stanford University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and speaks Bahasa.

Toligi joined with 23 years of wealth management experience. She was a relationship manager for the Indonesia market since 2005. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science.

Toh has 18 years of wealth management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the London School of Economics.
