Andrew holds the position of Executive Director at MSCI and leads their quantitative equity consulting in the Greater China region. His subject matter expertise and active client engagement have helped to drive a higher adoption rate of multi-factor analytics among his clients as well as generating a greater awareness of factor modelling & systematic portfolio construction in the industry. Andrew’s clientele includes some of the largest mutual funds, asset owners, hedge funds and investment banks in the region. Prior to joining MSCI, Andrew served as a Vice President at Pioneer Investments, where he was responsible for quantitative research in the Asia Pacific markets. In that capacity, he managed a number of sector carve-outs in the firm’s Asian funds as well as the stock selection process for their Japan quant products. Andrew graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours).
