Profile:
As head of global strategy for ETFs, Peter Lee is responsible for overseas expansions as well as new business strategy for ETFs at Samsung Asset Management ("SAM"). He has spearheaded SAM’s entry into the Hong Kong ETF market with the launch of Hong Kong’s first futures-based ETFs in 2015, followed by its first commodities-futures as well as leveraged and inverse ETFs.
Before joining SAM, Mr. Lee held various positions in finance, focusing on investments and business development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Lee holds a BS in economics from New York University Stern School of Business.
