Jirawat started working in the capital markets since 1992 at Phatra Thanakit (which later changed its name to Merrill Lynch Phatra Securities, and then Phatra Securities) He was a Merger & Acquisition (M&A) specialist in the telecommunication and insurance sectors. As Phatra become a subsidiary of Merrill Lynch, he had opportunities to work extensively as a senior banker in a global investment bank. In 2005, Jirawat was shifted to Private Wealth Management Business at Phatra, and a year later he was appointed as Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth Management Business. In 2010, Jirawat joined Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, based in Hong Kong, as a senior private banker, responsible for high net worth Thai clients based out of Hong Kong.
In 2013, Jirawat has led the development of Kasikornbank Private Banking Business (KPB). He is now responsible for the services for 10,000 HNWI clients with the asset under management worth more than USD 20 billion. As KPB aspires to offer an international comprehensive wealth management solutions to the clients, Jirawat guided KPB to sign a partnership with Lombard Odier, in 2014. In 2016, Jirawat has also established Wealth Planning Service, in order to be a truly comprehensive wealth management service.
