Profile:

A veteran banker with over 35 years of banking experience, Sermon had worked with Bank of America and Citibank in their various banking groups including Consumer, Commercial, Corporate, Credit Risk Management and Private Banking.

His international banking experience includes working in countries covering Canada, U.S., Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Korea. Sermon has held senior management position in the private banking business since 1992, through which he has built solid and experienced teams serving private clients in Asia and across the globe. Sermon joined ING Asia Private Bank (IAPB) in 2001 to spearhead the startup of their Greater China business. Currently, Sermon is the Chief Executive of Bank of Singapore Hong Kong Branch and Global Market Head for Greater China Region.

Sermon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Calgary, Canada.
