Profile:
Mr. Shrikant Bhat is currently Managing Director and Regional Head for Investment products for Citi across the Asia Pacific and EMEAmarkets. He assumed this role in January 2016, and is responsible for growing the bank’s Investment business in the region.
Prior to this role, Mr. Bhat was with Citibank Singapore as Head of Wealth management, which includes Investments, Treasury, Deposits, Brokerage and Bancassurance as well as Advisory and Research.
As Head of Wealth Management, Mr. Bhat has continuously raised the bar for advisory services and expanded the suite of innovative solutions offered to the Citibanking, Citigold and Citigold Private Client segments.
In 2013, Citibank launched CEO Conversations, Singapore’s first specialized private wealth advisory service for high net worth clients who are business owners of C-level executives. He also successfully led the launch of the groundbreaking Portfolio Risk Advisory Tool, a new risk advisory tool that provides Citigold clients with a holistic overview of their investment portfolios.
A veteran banker, Mr. Bhat joined Citibank 21 years ago as a Sales Manager for the bank’s Credit Payment Products business and has a wealth of experience in Consumer Banking and Wealth Management. Prior to his role as Head of Wealth Management, Mr. Bhat was Head of Wealth Management for the Non-Resident Indian business globally.
Mr. Bhat graduated with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
