Murli is the regional head for Citigold Private Client, a segment for HNW clients present in 11 onshore and offshore markets for Citi in Asia and EMEA. Murli joined Citi in Asia in 2009 and was responsible for its launch and expansion into a comprehensive wealth management service for HNW clients. As the head for this segment, his responsibilities include client acquisition, business growth, development of new products and services as well as banker training and performance plans besides the overall portfolio financials. Murli joined Citi in 2007 and has held various roles in finance, marketing, risk and operations within Citi’s Consumer bank in the US and Asia as a Global Consumer Management Associate. He also has several years of experience as an engineer and consultant with specializations in analytical modeling, operations research and infrastructure. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and Masters in Engineering from the University of Missouri.
