Profile:

Johnny Heng is Chief Investment Officer for Nomura’s Wealth Management business in Asia ex-Japan. He is responsible for the investment advisory and portfolio management teams within Wealth Management in the region and works closely with the product team to enhance Nomura’s global investment platform across all asset classes.

Prior to joining Nomura in October 2015, Johnny was at Coutts, where he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Services, Asia. Previously, he also worked as Head of Investment Consulting at Credit Suisse’s private bank and was a member of the Management Investment Committee at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), holding multiple positions including Global Head of Equities Trading and Head of Quantitative Equities. 

Johnny is a member of the Asset Management Committee of the CFA Society Singapore and sits on the board of the National Kidney Foundation, Singapore.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
