Swiss Private Bank Quintet sets its sights on Asia

Quintet Private Bank, headquartered in Luxembourg and operating in 50 European cities, is reportedly setting its sights on Asia, the world’s fastest-growing wealth management market.

To that end, Quintet Switzerland, a member of Quintet Private Bank, has appointed Jing Zhang Brogle as Market Head, Asia International, the Bank said in a press release.

A highly experienced wealth management professional who most recently served as Global Market Manager Asia at Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse), Zhang Brogle will help Quintet build a high-quality team of client advisors covering Asia from Switzerland. In doing so, she will leverage Quintet Switzerland’s multi-booking approach and family office capabilities.

In addition to serving as a Director at Edmond de Rothschild Family Advisory in Hong Kong, Zhang Brogle also served as CEO of the Swiss bank’s Hong Kong branch. She earlier served as CEO and member of the board at Vontobel Wealth Management (Hong Kong), as well as Head of Greater China at Vontobel Private Banking International, Switzerland. Prior to that, she was a senior client advisor for UBS Wealth Management in Switzerland.

Zhang Brogle, who is Swiss-Chinese, has spent her entire career building financial bridges between Europe and Asia. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst who pursued her studies in Shanghai and Zurich.

Emmanuel Fievet, CEO, Switzerland, Quintet, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jing to our tight-knit team, where she will play a key role in our long-term plan to develop a robust international private banking franchise.”

“Quintet’s ambition is to build scale over time to become the world’s leading boutique wealth manager – and the most trusted fiduciary of family wealth, which always puts its clients’ interests first. Jing embraces our client-centric approach, and will be a great addition to our team,” Fievet continued.

Jing Zhang Brogle, Market Head, Asia International, Quintet, said: “At this challenging time for the world and transformative moment for wealth managers, I am extremely pleased to take on this new role at Switzerland’s newest private bank. I look forward to putting all my skills and experience to work at this industry challenger, collaborating closely with my colleagues in Zurich and across the wider Quintet family as we forge a culture of partnership – where nothing is more important than doing the right thing for the individuals and families we serve.”
