Sun Life Announces Opening of New Agile Office to Support Growth in Hong Kong

Sun Life Hong Kong has announced the opening of its new head office at Cheung Kei Center in Hunghom. The opening marks another milestone in Sun Life’s 127-year history in the city, accelerating innovation and collaboration to support the Company’s business expansion.

Sun Life’s new head office at Cheung Kei Center occupies six and a half floors in Tower A and all of Tower B. It follows an open workplace and user-centric approach, designed with dedicated areas and facilities to foster interaction and inspiration among employees. The mold-breaking design language in Tower B offers unmatched opportunities that brings clients, employees, advisors and the local communities closer.

The all-encompassing office aims to facilitate casual collisions and the exchange of ideas through dynamic collaboration spaces on all staff floors, complemented by the adoption of smart technologies. Every conference room is equipped with the Zoom video conference system, and upgraded softphone systems for all employees enables agility and efficiency. This technological leap empowers employees to work together in pursuit of higher standards, delivering a distinct, innovative, and seamless experience to clients.

The state-of-the-art facilities at the new workplace will greatly enhance employee wellbeing at Sun Life. The elevated environment, featuring a staff café, height-adjustable desks, post-workouts amenities, as well as existing employee-centric policies such as flexible working, aims to enrich the way employees work and live a healthier life, as well as attract young talent to drive continuous growth at Sun Life.

The new and modern space at Tower B is designed to create a wide-ranging experience. The Townhall and BrighterGen Academy at Tower B provide flexible space for educational and training purposes and are set to bring stakeholders, including employees, advisors, clients and the community together through various wellness events, in addition to events in collaboration with charities. With better hospitality in mind, the Client Service Centre’s service hours have been extended to 8pm from Mondays to Fridays.
