Raffles Family Office Appoints Zann Kwan as Chief Investment Officer of Revo and Rizal Wijono to the Independent Advisory Board-SPC-1020-LT01

Raffles Family Office, a leading Asian multi-family office, has announced the appointment of Zann Kwan as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Managing Partner of Revo Digital Family Office (Revo), and Rizal Wijono as a member of the Independent Advisory Board, with immediate effect.

Revo, Asia’s first multi-family office for digital assets launched in October this year, enables ultra-high net worth (UHNW) families to access and invest in digital assets from a consolidated wealth management platform. Kwan’s appointment demonstrates the firm’s continued commitment to serving the needs of both traditional and digital asset wealth holders through a unified ecosystem with access to the digital assets industry, a sector that has a growing interest from UHNW investors in Asia.

Kwan brings close to twenty-five years of professional and financial services experience, in which nine of those have been dedicated to the digital assets space. Kwan, who was most recently a member of Raffles Family Office’s Independent Advisory Board, co-founded Bitcoin Exchange Pte Ltd, the company behind the first public bitcoin machine in Asia, as well as virtual asset service provider Deodi Pte Ltd. Kwan, will work closely with Revo’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ray Tam, and will be based in Singapore.

Wijono was most recently with Micro Connect Group where he was a Managing Director in the Investor Relations team. During his time there, Wijono, launched the private equity platform of Micro Connect.Wijono is a seasoned financial services executive with twenty-eight years of experience. He will primarily assist RFO in exploring opportunities with European based Family Offices looking for a gateway to Asia with RFO’s extensive network.

The Independent Advisory Board is a body of external advisors that Raffles Family Office created in 2021 to support the management of wealth within complex family structures and pursuit of philanthropic endeavours for clients. Wijono will join Bruno Morel, ex-Singapore CEO of VP Bank, Christina Lau, former risk assurance partner at PricewaterhouseCooper, and David Chang, Vice Chairman, Asia at PGIM.

About Zann Kwan

Zann Kwan spent the last nine years in cryptocurrency and digital assets in her twenty-five years of professional experience in finance and investments. Kwan is the co-founder of Bitcoin Exchange Pte Ltd, a cryptocurrency pioneer that launched the first public bitcoin machine in Asia in early 2014. She also founded Deodi, a virtual asset service provider, to improve the accessibility of cryptocurrencies for retail and institutional participants.

Kwan has been on the board of ACCESS, the leading blockchain and cryptocurrency industry association in Asia. She also is an ex-member of Raffles Family Office’s IAB and a board member of CFA Society of Singapore.

Being one of the first accounting-trained entrepreneurs in the cryptocurrency space, she has played an instrumental role in the development of tax regulations on digital tokens in Singapore, advising IRAS in the nascent years. She is also part of the ACCESS consultation group to formulate the code of practice for the cryptocurrency industry in Singapore. She has been called the "Crypto Queen" by the Accounting and Business Magazine by ACCA in 2019 for her contribution in the space.

About Rizal Wijono

Rizal Wijono has over twenty-eight years of experience in the financial services industry in Asia. Most recently Wijono was with Micro Connect Group where he was responsible for the build-out of its Investor Relations area. Prior to Micro Connect, Rizal was active in private equity with Tongfang Securities and Hong Kong Bridge Investments Limited, where he helped launch several Private Equity funds and helped the respective businesses obtain Hong Kong SFC licenses. He is Hong Kong SFC licensed Type 1, 4 and 9.

At Sun Hung Kai Financial, where he was for eight years, Wijono was a director of various subsidiaries of the Group with full management responsibility for the Asset Management business. Prior to SHKF, Wijono was Regional Director - Head of Product Strategy and Services at Deutsche Asset Management Asia Pacific (DeAM) in Singapore and he spent 9 years with ING Investment Management Asia Pacific specializing in product development, wholesale, and institutional sales, business management and establishing ING Investment Management businesses across 10 countries in Asia.

Wijono is a graduate of the University of Antwerp (Belgium) with a Bachelor Degree in Applied Business Economics. He also holds a Management Degree (Equivalent to an MBA) from the Xavier Institute of Management (XIM, India). He speaks 6 languages including Dutch, French, German, English, Chinese Putonghua and Bahasa.
