Private Client Services by Mercer welcomes new Hong Kong CEO Christina Wong

Private Client Services by Mercer (PCS) has announced the appointment of Christina Wong as CEO for PCS Hong Kong, effective October 11, 2021.

In her role, she will lead the sales team to secure new partnerships and cultivate strong relationships with existing private banking partners and carriers across North Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Ms Wong will report directly to PCS Group CEO Joseph Low.

With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and banking industry, Ms Wong was most recently the Head of Third Party and Private Banking Distribution at HSBC Life. She was instrumental in the growth of its high net worth client segment and achieving wealth model synergies across the HSBC Group. Prior to this, she held similar leadership roles at Transamerica Life Bermuda, MetLife and Zurich International Life.

Mr Low said the PCS business has risen to the digital and logistical challenges brought forth by the pandemic, to continue delivering insurance solutions to our clients with speed and efficacy. Ms Wong’s extensive experience across multi-channel insurance sales, distribution, products, strategic planning and project execution, along with her drive and dedication, would fuel PCS’ global growth ambition.

“With Christina now on board, we have added further experience and expertise to the PCS leadership team that will allow us to capture the strong demand amongst high net worth clients for greater insurance protection and wealth transference,” Mr Low added.

Commenting on her new appointment, Ms Wong said, “PCS has an established track record and a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by high net worth individuals. I’m excited to build on this success to leverage our deep expertise in Asia and tailor global risk solutions for clients and our business in the region.”
