Nomura Appoints Patrick Eltridge Group Chief Information Officer

Nomura Holdings has announced the appointment of Patrick Eltridge as Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective October 1, 2022.

In the Group CIO role, he will be based in Tokyo and lead Nomura’s group-wide IT organization.

Commenting on his appointment, Patrick Eltridge said: “Nomura is a recognized leader in its home market with an increasingly global presence and international growth strategy. I am excited to join the firm as it undergoes a digital and data transformation to deliver a better experience for clients and employees.”

Patrick was previously the Chief Operating Officer at Nationwide Building Society overseeing technology, digital, operations, data, security, payments, risk and controls, supply chain and property. In roles prior to Nationwide, he was CIO at Royal Bank of Scotland (now NatWest) and CIO for Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications business.
