Leo Wealth Expands Asia Presence by Acquiring Jachin Capital

Leo Wealth acquires independent fund manager to grow footprint in Singapore and Southeast Asia iAdvisor digital investment platform to enhance Leo Wealth’s portfolio management and digital capabilities.

Independent wealth advisor Leo Wealth has announced the opening of a Singapore office through the acquisition of Jachin Capital, an independent fund manager offering investment management solutions to accredited investors in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. The acquisition expands Leo Wealth’s presence in Asia beyond Hong Kong and Tokyo to better serve the evolving needs of high-net-worth and mass-affluent individuals in the region.

Leo Wealth provides seamless international wealth solutions, integrating portfolio and asset management with international tax and estate planning. The growing number of high-net-worth individuals in Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region is driving demand for more personalized and all-inclusive cross-border wealth and tax capabilities. The Singapore office will serve as the firm’s operating base in the Southeast Asia region, enhancing its capabilities and expertise in comprehensive cross-border wealth management, including tax and estate planning, investment, and financial planning services in Asia, the U.S., and around the world.

The launch of the Leo Wealth Singapore office follows the opening of the Tokyo office in July 2022, which strengthened the company’s tax capabilities across Asia and the U.S. The strategic acquisition in Singapore will further Leo Wealth’s digital capabilities by incorporating Jachin Capital’s iAdvisor digital investment platform into the firm’s service offering. This integration will enhance Leo Wealth’s existing financial planning and investment services, giving the firm’s clients worldwide, 24/7 access to dynamic, intelligent, personalized investment portfolios.

The acquisition of Jachin Capital has been approved by the MAS, with rebranding to be completed in the first quarter of 2023. Following the acquisition, Joyce Woo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Jachin Capital, will remain in her role as Chief Executive, Head of Leo Wealth Singapore and will join the firm’s executive team in Asia. Joyce has over 30 years of corporate and private banking experience in Singapore and Southeast Asia. She founded Jachin Capital in 2014, with the core belief that investors should have simple, affordable and convenient access to investment solutions.
