Highlights from the 7th Thailand Wealth Management Forum

More than 300 top-level practitioners from the Asian wealth management community attended the Thailand Wealth Management Forum in Bangkok.

On May 17, at the Conrad Hotel in Bangkok, more than 300 top-level practitioners from private banks, retail banks, IFAs, family offices, insurance companies, and independent wealth management firms came together to discuss the rapid developing Thai wealth opportunity.

Notable speakers at the event included Credit Suisse’s Benjamin Cavalli, Siam Commercial’s Sornchai Suneta, Citi’s Vira-anong C. Phutrakul, Bangkok Bank’s Cholathee Pornrojnangkool, Generali’s Samdarshi Sumit, Kasikorn Asset’s Kittikun Tanaratpattanakit, Kasikornbank’s Jirawat Supornpaibul and Triphon Phumiwasana, MBMG Group’s Paul Gambles, One Asset’s Pote Harinasuta, UBP’s Michael Blake, and Lombard Odier’s Vincent Magnenat among others.
 
Malik Sarwar once again chaired and moderated in his usual inimitable style, drawing out key insights from the experienced panellists. 

In his closing message, Malik, CEO of K2 Leaders USA and until recently Global Head of Sales Management and Wealth development at HSBC, highlighted key leadership and relationship management insights on how RMs can become the primary advisors to their affluent and HNW clients by anticipating their needs and always displaying competence and compassion.
