Citibank China has overhauled Citigold, its client segment targeting the affluent in China.

In China, the Citigold segment caters to affluent clients with assets under management of RMB 1 million and above. According to a statement, the improved offering will provide a range of new preferred benefits and personalised services.

This includes the launch of Total Wealth Advisor, a digital advisory platform that includes Portfolio 360 with comprehensive investment analytics under various stress test scenarios.

Also new is the Citigold Diversification Index (CDI) which assesses a client’s portfolio diversification across asset classes.

The firm will now also employ Wharton-trained relationship managers for a more efficient and scientific, goal-based advisory experience, it said.

It will also offer a range of new wealth management products, including access to many first or exclusively distributed QDII funds.

Also, individual benefits including free access to overseas Citigold centres, free foreign airport pick up, fee waiver for premium credit cards and a credit of up to 100,000 miles would also be on the cards for Citigold clients.

Citigold clients will also have access to a Digital Privilege Platform, from where they will be able to access privileges across travel, overseas education, and health and wellness.

In 2017, Citi China said that grew its AUMs by 13% on the back of a 9% increase in customer growth.
