Capital Group strengthens marketing in Asia with senior hire

Capital Group is pleased to announce that Heidi Sutton has joined the firm as of May 14 as Managing Director, Asia Marketing. Heidi is responsible for leading and defining overall marketing strategy and plans for priority markets in the APAC region.

Based in Singapore, Heidi reports to David Cowdell, Managing Director for Asia and Europe Marketing. Heidi joins our team from First State Investments, where she was Global Head of Marketing. Prior to that, she led marketing in Asia for JP Morgan Asset Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Her deep, client-focused marketing expertise and extensive global experience will enhance support for clients in the region. She will work closely with country marketing teams and support business growth in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Australia.
