Thomas von Rueti is the Chief Commercial Officer of Singapore Life since January 2016. Prior to joining Singapore Life, Thomas was member of the Executive team of Zurich Life in Singapore from 2013 until the end of 2015. Thomas moved to Singapore in 2008 as the CEO of Swiss Life Singapore, a HNW focused insurer which he lead from a greenfield operation to a one billion premium player in just a few year. Before moving to Singapore he had senior roles with UBS, Credit Suisse and Winterthur in Switzerland and Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in life insurance and wealth management industry covering wealth planning, customer advise, distribution and proposition development. Besides his role at Singapore Life does he teach at the SMU academy.
