Ogar is part of the Passive Sales team in DWS (previously known as Deutsche Asset Management), responsible to cover Private Banks, as well as Institutional clients in South East Asia. He was previously working in BlackRock, where he spent 6 years in Singapore and Hong Kong, initially responsible to develop ETFs, before he became an ETF Specialist covering Private Banks, Retail, and Asset Managers, and subsequently a product strategist within the Asian Fixed Income team. Earlier in his career, Ogar was a Quantitative Analyst at ABN AMRO in Sydney and Derivatives Structurer at BNP Paribas Fortis in Hong Kong. Ogar holds BSc in Computer Science and Applied Maths from University of Melbourne, Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School London, and MSc in Risk Management from University of New South Wales. He is also a CFA charterholder and Certified FRM.
