Suresh is Head of Funds Distribution, Asia and joined Principal Global Investors in August 2016 and is responsible for sales of funds and sub-advisory mandates to the wealth managers and distributors in the region. Prior to joining Principal, Suresh was at BlackRock where he was responsible for the build-out of the dedicated Wealth and Asset Management relationship management team for iShares ETFs covering clients in Singapore and Hong Kong. Suresh joined BlackRock in 2011. Previously Suresh was a Managing Director at Macquarie where he started and ran the fund of hedge funds business for over 8 years. He later moved to Singapore in 2009 to expand Macquarie’s sales and structuring efforts in SE Asia covering institutional and private wealth clients. Suresh joined Macquarie with its acquisition of the Bankers Trust Australia's investment banking business where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Market Risk Management at the time of acquisition. Prior to that Suresh worked at National Australia Bank's Global Independent Risk unit where he was Head of Risk Analytics. Suresh has a BEng (Hons) degree from University of NSW, Sydney.
