After training as systems engineer, enterprise architect and IT project manager at IBM, Thomas joined the Boston Consulting Group and advised major companies around the world on leveraging technology for competitive advantage. During this time, he also drove the world's largest core banking replacement program at a leading Chinese bank. After a stint at PwC in Australia as Head of Digital Financial Services, he was hired by Switzerland-based additiv AG, a digital finance platform provider, as Global Head of Solutions. His mission is to launch a new range of Software-as-a-Service products.
He will focus initially on the roll-out of a line of Robo Advisor products to cater to the wealth management space, providing incumbents with a fast, cost effective, high quality route to market. In the long-term, Thomas plans to expand additiv’s SaaS offering to encompass digital advisory, lending, insurance and portfolio management.
Thomas has published on digital ecosystems, big data and large scale IT transformation.
He is a regular speaker at conferences and has lectured at a leading business school.
He holds an MSc in Computer Science, Summa cum Laude, from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
